Once again, Fodele Beach & Water Park Holiday Resort, a member of the Bike Friendly network, takes a leading role in the "Clean up the MED" initiative as part of its commitment to protecting the environment and the beaches of the Mediterranean.
The initiative focuses on cleaning the Mediterranean coasts and serves as an environmental awareness and social solidarity action for those participating in it.
Volunteers at Fodele Beach & Water Park participated in the “Clean up the MED,” an international campaign dedicated to cleaning Mediterranean coasts.
Dozens of foreign visitors, along with the staff of Fodele Beach & Water Park Holiday Resort, conducted a voluntary beach cleanup, putting Fodele on the European map of areas participating in the 2024 action.
In this way, Crete, and particularly the Fodele Beach & Water Park Holiday Resort, sent a positive message to an environmentally conscious audience, which was shared widely through social media posts made by the resort’s guests.
It is worth noting that the “Clean up the MED” action takes place every year in hundreds of coastal areas across the Mediterranean, drawing global attention due to the massive participation of people of all ages from different countries. The primary goal of this campaign is to raise awareness among citizens about the need to protect the Mediterranean Sea.
