Bike Friendly’s Dynamic Participation in Greek Tourism Exhibitions (2022)
In 2022, Bike Friendly made a strong appearance at several Greek tourism exhibitions with its own booths, branded as the “Cycling Corner.”
Specifically, Bike Friendly participated in the following exhibitions:
- November 3-5: 9th Athens International Tourism & Culture Expo – Zappeion, Athens
- November 18-20: 37th International Tourism Exhibition Philoxenia 2022 – Thessaloniki
- November 18-21: 100% Hotel Show – MEC Peania
- November 26-28: Xenia – Athens Metropolitan Expo
With its dedicated booths, Bike Friendly spread the message of cycling and its timely connection to tourism, while promoting its network members and the Bike Friendly certification.
Professionals in the tourism sector, tourism organizations, exhibitors from tourist destinations (Regions, Municipalities, etc.), hosted buyers, and visitors looking for information for their next travel getaway visited our booths and learned about the Bike Friendly project.
Many visitors met with us and were informed about the hotels, municipalities-destinations, network partners (cycling companies, travel agencies, etc.), the “Bike Friendly” label, and the broader concept of cycling tourism.
