The advertising campaign of Chios for cycling tourism

Chios may not be on the list of top Greek island destinations, but it has managed to establish itself on the tourism map and strengthen its year-round tourism through the alternative forms it offers, as noted in a recent interview with Deputy Mayor of Tourism, Kostas Verninas.

Specifically, the island has transformed into a “Bike Friendly Destination” and has attracted cycling tourism enthusiasts, who, through the island’s cycling routes, get a taste of everything Chios has to offer—unique architecture, rich gastronomy, and the vast plains.

In its effort to promote the cycling activities taking place on the island, the Municipality of Chios created an advertising spot highlighting both road and mountain cycling tourism. People of all ages aim to explore the island through its cycling routes.
