On September 23, 2016, the first public announcement of the “Bike Friendly” label was made during an informational seminar by the Chalkidiki Hotel Association.
At the seminar, among other speakers, Ms. Vicky Karantzavelou, journalist and general director of NatTour, presented the new “Bike Friendly Hotel” label and the significance of cycling tourism for Greece.
The development of the “Bike Friendly” label by the AMKE NatTour is being carried out in collaboration with the Hellenic Society for the Protection of Nature (E.E.P.F.).
